Are you seeing a spark? Always connect the charger to the wall outlet first before plugging it into the charge port on the vehicle. Hopefully that helps.

​@UrbanMachina thank you for answering. i connect to the scooter first as said in the manual but i will try it your way. the spark is bigger if the battery is discharged severly, one of my charging ports even melted slightly. had to buy a new one

The 15.6Ah battery in the VSETT 9 Apex is VSETT's in-house battery brand. It's a Chinese battery certified for foreign export and not the LG batteries. We suggest bringing it to a technician if you are unfamiliar with the process. If you prefer to do it yourself, you can check out a.co/d/fggYrhx (similar to what we use). You will need the syringe and the hose with the correct bit for the system. Additionally, you will have to purchase the mineral oil separately.

Unfortunately no. The VSETT 8+ tire rim is not designed to fit a tube valve at all. The VSETT 8+ is equipped with dual spring shocks and large travel room in front so it can ride comfortably over bumps.

Not necessarily. But if you can't turn properly, it's usually an indication of a steering bearing issue.

I have an Elektro 8 which is identicle, When you fold the each handle bar down for transport there is a hex screw on the inside of the handlebar. adjusting this very slightly will fix the loose handlebar.

Is the hiley fast? Is it reliable?

@@dylantedlock Yes it is fast (in my opinion). Actually, I would use the term "quick". There are certainly faster scooters out there, but it can certainly get to its 28mph max quickly with those dual motors very quickly. You really have to hold on. Acceleration is phenomenal. As for reliability. I will give it a soft yes. It is reliable. I have had a couple of minor fails over the course of riding it for the past 1.5 years. That rear fender kept braking. It cannot handle the vibrations and forces caused by the ruff streets of NYC. I have not bothered to replace it after the third breakage. Rather looking for an alternative. Does not affect the ride. (Unless the ground is wet. Your pants will get dirty.) Broke the rear break cable and needed to replace. And of course the rear tire finally gave out. But I have a lot of miles on it and the rear does take a beating on these streets. I did replace the tire on my own, thanks to the video examples. Overall, it is a very good scooter. Best scooter I ever had next to my old Glion Dolly (7+ years). There are several versions of the same scooter under different brand names, but Hiley Tiger 8 pro was the cheapest for essentially the exact same scooter.

We go through a pretty detailed pre-shipping inspection, which includes brake checks, but it's always good practice to ensure that levers are secure before hitting the road. Hope this helps!

Well, it worked initially.. but now it's stiff/locking again. I can't loosen anymore or the bolt will just fall out

The front tires do not come with slime from the factory. Depending on who you purchased it from, it could be slimed from the dealer. We put loctite on essential screws as part of the pre-sale prep. Hope this helps!

@@UrbanMachina thanks so much for your reply yes I got a flat tire so I saw Loctite on the screws. But no slime in the tire. But what a joy taking the tire off. So easy to fix. It's a awesome scooter and a wonderful ride. I got mine from Rev Rides usa
